A Word About Our 1/2 Day Schedule...
You'll notice our half day program is a bit longer than the typical 2 1/2 - 3 hour program most preschools offer. Our 4 hour program provides the children a more complete preschool experience without rushing them through all that the preschool day has to offer. It also gives parents the ability to accomplish more without the need to hurry back for a quick pick up time.
Wonder Years Preschool follows the NMRSD school schedule with a few exceptions.
Our first day of school is the day after Labor Day. We plan a Meet and Greet morning in August so the children can visit the classroom again, see their teachers, and meet new friends.
When NM has a scheduled "late start "or a scheduled half day, we are open at regular time and have a full day of school.
When NM has no school due to professional development days, we have a regular full day of school.
Wonder Years Preschool has only 1 "short day" during the school year which is our preschool graduation day. Our preschool graduation day is planned ahead yearly. It's usually on a Friday.
Closures Due to Inclement Weather
If NM has a 2 hour delay due to weather conditions, Wonder Years Preschool also has a 2 hour delay.
If NM cancels school due to weather conditions, Wonder Years Preschool is also closed.
